Equipment and Uniforms
Our Program does keep a small stock of helmets and fielder's masks for sale at a discounted price.
Contact the Uniform Coordinator for more information prior to purchasing.
Required Equipment
Rosemount Softball Provides:
-
Catchers Gear - Catcher's helmet, chest protector, and shin pads.

Softballs - 11 inch for 8U and 10U 12 inch for 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U
-
Hitting Nets, Tees, and any other necessary training equipment

Players Provide the Following REQUIRED Equipment:

Bat
-
Fielders Glove
-
Batting Helmet - with face mask and chin strap. (Rip It)

Cleats - 8U, 10U &12U must be non-metal
-
Defensive Facemask

Other Optional Equipment:

Sliding pad and/or sliding shorts

Batting gloves

Mouth guard

Softball bag

Glove Size Recommendations
Softball Bats
There are many options and price points to choose from.
The most important thing for a youth fastpitch bat is sizing.
How to find the right size bat for your player:
-
She should be able to swing it comfortably and with control.
-
Length: When the bat is upright on the ground, should hit the player at about her hip.
-
Swing a few to see what feels the best.
-
Ask a bat salesperson, coach, or other players for advice.
Uniforms

Summer Softball Uniforms Include:

Short-sleeve jersey

Sleeveless jersey (10U and older)

Long-sleeve undershirt
-
1 pair pants
-
1 pair socks
-
1 belt

Parents may choose to purchase additional pants, socks, belts and other items at additional cost during uniform
try-ons.

Fall Ball Uniforms Include:

1 Short-sleeve jersey

PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL BE USING THE WHITE SUMMER UNIFORMS FOR FALL. IF YOU PLAYED IN THE PREVIOUS SUMMER, YOU DO NOT NEED A NEW JERSEY.

If you are new to our program in the fall: pants, socks and belt are available from our Uniform Coordinator for an additional cost.
